*DHC = Dirt Holding Capacity is the amount of contaminant that can be removed and held by the filter until is ceases to function. **Most manufacturers recommend 12 months life span with cleansing intervals. It must be noted, however, that cleansing greatly reduces filter effectiveness as fibers begin to break down.
So after first cleansing a pleated cartridge measured 75 micron at 10% Efficiency
